Important Information for our Performance

Posted December 2nd, 2009 by Miss Ada

Just some important reminders for our production this Saturday, December 5th of “This Ain’t No Oz” at Woodbridge Middle School.

There is no dress rehearsal for the show. We are utilizing in class time to run scenes and refine dance numbers.

Students are to arrive at Woodbridge Middle School on Saturday  at 9:30 (especially our little dancers!) in and FULL hair and makeup. All dancers’ hair should be up in a bun, no bangs! Make-up should be as followed: blue eye shadow up to the brow bone, red blush, red/hot pink lipstick. The make-up is to ensure your dancer’s face is seen from stage. Stage lighting tends to “wash out” faces. A good rule of thumb- if it looks like your dancer has too much makeup on up close, it’s perfect! Costumes:  Most classes will be wearing black leggings (down to the ankle) with the red Holiday t-shirt we have provided for you. Specific dances do have costumes and have been discussed by your teachers (example: Prince/Princess Ballet, Tot Tumblers, Little Tappers, Grinch dancers, Poinsettia Ballet, Snowflake Ballet, Soloists, etc).

The show will begin promptly at 10:00am. Doors open at 9:30am. Tickets for the show are $7.00 each.

Our fantastic and fun Breakfast with Santa & the Holiday Show Characters will begin at 11:30am.  This awesome event is almost sold out! Get your tickets now!!! $12.00 per person for a wonderful breakfast of pancakes, french toast, sausage, eggs, bagels, coffee, teas and hot chocolate!

A special reminder to our Prince/Princess Ballet, Tot Tumblers, and Little Tappers: We will have a special section for you and your dancer to sit for the show on the left side of the auditorium. This will ensure a smooth lining up of our young performers!

If you have any questions regarding the performance, please see Miss Jane or any staff member.

Looking forward to seeing you at our show!!
